About Company
Design Treasure Studio is an interior design company based in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, founded in 2019 by Rutuja Chunekar. The studio provides end-to-end interior design services for residential and commercial spaces, with projects across Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Alibaug in Maharashtra. Its official website describes the practice as focused on creating individually tailored environments based on each client's requirements and the intended character of the space.
The studio's principal designer, Rutuja Chunekar, holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Interior Design from Florence Design Academy, Italy. Before establishing Design Treasure Studio, she gained professional experience with other design firms. The studio has subsequently developed a team of contractors and workers to support project execution.
Design Treasure Studio follows an integrated process covering briefing, design, execution, and handover. The initial briefing is used to understand the client's requirements, followed by detailed layouts and mood boards that translate those requirements into a considered design direction. The studio manages end-to-end execution, coordinating the transition from the approved design to the completed interior.
Its portfolio includes residential projects in locations such as Kharghar, Thane, and Chembur. The projects demonstrate different design approaches, including contemporary, minimalist, warm, colourful, and European-inspired interiors. The studio's work pays attention to spatial planning, custom storage, materials, lighting, furniture layouts, textures, and practical requirements alongside aesthetics.
The company states that its objective is to create distinctive spaces with purpose while maintaining close collaboration with clients throughout the design and execution journey. Its services are therefore structured around personalized design, detailed planning, coordinated implementation, and final handover.
